Protecting Peoples' Lives

In 2000, in the U.S., there were more than 4,000 fire-related deaths. It is estimated that at least 280 lives were saved thanks to the use of BFRs alone.

In Europe, the European Commission estimated a 20% reduction of fire related deaths as a result of the use of flame retardants in the last 10 years.
